The Shelby, Michigan area has plenty of area attractions. When you get bored of relaxing, here is a list that can keep you busy as much as you want to be:

Tubing down the Stony Lake channel; beautiful Stony Lake is located only about 2 miles from the cabin. Enjoy tubing from Stony Lake Creek for about 1.5 hours all the way to Lake Michigan.

Golfing: There are enough golf courses around to golf a different course each day. Here are some of the courses located near the cabin: Grand View, Benona Shores, Oceana Country Club, Old Channel Trail, and The Colonial.

Michigan's Adventure: amusement park and water park owned by Cedar Point. Your admission ticket is good for the amusement park and the water park. This park is about 30 minutes south of the cabin.

Silver Lake Sand Dunes: Here, you can rent or bring your own vehicle to ride the dunes. If you want exercise, you can walk the dunes for free. Silver Lake is also a place you can rent water vehicles. Lewis Farm Market: a wonderful, little farm with homemade goodies and animals that you can pet and feed.

Country Dairy Farms: Tour this great farm, shop in their store, and eat in their restaurant.

Shopping: visit some beautiful, historic, small towns for some great shopping: Pentwater, Shelby, New Era, White Lake, Hart, and Ludington to name a few.

Biking, Walking, Rollerblading: The Hart-Montague Trail State Park is a paved, 22-mile trail passing through rural, forested lands. Scenic overlooks and picnic areas are located along the route.

And of course you have the everyday up-north activities: boating, fishing, swimming, canoeing, sun-tanning, bonfires, and anything else you can think of.
